I really wanted to like them..... I have used them 4 times. Twice for wheel repair and twice for full refinish and powder coating. The turn around on the repairs was a perfect experience.... however... once I started doing full refinish is when all of the issues began. First set of wheels I was told were finished had overspray all over them, so they had to be repainted. 5 weeks they had these rims. The agreement we made was paying half up front and the other half when they were finished. After two weeks I was getting calls asking to finish paying for them so they could make pay for their team. I paid them and was promised they would be finished within a week and after 3 weeks and a repaint, they were done. Second set of rims were perfect, except for the center caps....... and the payment agreement. Was asked, again, to pay the other half early so they could make payroll but was assured that my wheels would be ready by the end of that day (friday). Called at 5, was told monday because the center caps were drying. Picked them up monday but the centercaps were all damaged/ poorly painted. Waited 3 more days to get the centercaps back and, instead of taking them apart, they decided to

My rims were absolutely wrecked and wheel was cracked thanks to a nasty pothole and some construction zone debris. I called around. Please do not waste your time at Big chains who want to take nearly a week to a job! I am so happy I ended in a family owned shop where the owner took care of my car like it was his own. Way Better than I expected! The team had a great attitude, no runaround, just straight with me the whole time. And they were fast. Like, actually efficient, not "we'll call you Tuesday" efficient. I've had shops talk a big game and hand me back wobbly junk. Not these guys. They know what they're doing. Best deals I found for the quality service, too. I Already told three friends where to go if they want their wheel repaired and best looking rims. Thank you for the 5 stars service!! ✨✨

Thank you Tim and team! I highly recommend RimSpec! I’d never been to this place before. I drove in from Farmers Branch on a Saturday morning to get my wheel repaired from some ugly looking curb scratches I caused. I’d roughed up about 1/4 of the edge of my entire rim. I thought I might have to come back on Monday, but Tim took a look and said he’d get it done and to come back at closing. I came back at closing time and Tim stayed late to finish it off. He did an amazing job! Looks brand new and matches perfectly! Tim and the team really take care of you. And take pride in their work. Much appreciated!

I was referred to this shop by my awesome mechanic after discovering my rims on the right side of my car absolutely ate shit. This shop is extremely hospitable, efficient, and overall fantastic. I was made sure multiple times that I was comfortable and up to date with the status of my car. I had weekend plans and this place made sure I didn’t skip a beat. Definitely glad to know that the best only refer the best. Gonna have to come back again to see the shop dog.

Top-tier service. Fast, affordable, and excellent quality work. They fixed my rim perfectly and had me back on the road in no time. Friendly staff and honest pricing. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend them to everyone.
